Our beloved Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was joined by billions of participants worldwide for the last Global Day of Prayer held this weekend, from Friday to Saturday for a full non-stop 24 hours of prayers. The ’round the clock’ intercessory prayers was joined with over 27 Ministers from countries of the world like Madagascar, India, USA, Srilanka, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, UAE, Nigeria, Tonga, Canada, Lebanon, and many more making tremendous power available for the glorious change in the nations of the world.
This Global Day of Prayer has become synonymous with comfort and hope for everyone around the world during the scary and uncertain times of the COVID-19 global pandemic. In the last 18 months, we’ve effected remarkable changes, with much grace bestowed upon our world through prayer and our heavenly Father’s blessed response.
Concluding the 24-hour Prayer Session
At the final session of the 7th edition of the Global Day of Prayer, Pastor Chris encouraged the participants to build their life on the Word by saying: “Don’t follow the experience of anybody! Follow the word!” He further encouraged that you ought to refuse to be sick. ”Don’t let anyone baby you into a weakened Christian life. Preaching, and studying the Word of God for your growth, are not the same thing.”
Pastor Chris also explained that God hears us, and He responds. And that the first part of His response is the confirmation in your spirit that you have been heard. He also taught that there are relevant and irrelevant questions and that it is always better to do what God instructs first before you ask questions.
Enforcing the Will of the Father in the Earth Through prayer, we have the privilege and opportunity to exercise our authority in Christ to cause the change we want to see in our lives, the lives of others, our nations, and indeed the world.
It has been an amazing time of heartfelt prevailing prayer. The program featured various Ministers of the gospel from different countries of the world, leading the billions of people connected to the worldwide Livestream in prayer with specific prayer points and guides. These ministers of the Gospel arose to the challenge and took up the responsibility of prayer by leading multiple sessions for our continuing victory of light over darkness; good over evil; and righteousness over wickedness; as it is written: the evil bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous (Proverbs 14:19). It has been a time of enforcing the will of God on the earth.
During the Global Day of Prayer, Pastor Chris emphasized that the scripture warned us about the deception that will be perpetuated in the last days. We are in the closing phase of the church age, according to the scriptures. And except we pray, many will fall away from the faith. Prayer is very necessary. Jesus said to watch and pray that you enter not into temptation (Mark 14:38).
Christianity is more than just a religion; it is about a relationship. By spending time in His Word, and taking time for prayer, you will cultivate that special relationship with Him. When you seek this relationship in your life, God will start to reveal His plan to you. “Christianity, essentially, is God at work in a man; it’s divinity alive in humanity. It’s the outworking or revelation of the spiritual, in the message of Jesus Christ through human vessels. It’s a living relationship, a fellowship with a living God,” Pastor Chris reiterates to his members constantly.

Pastor Chris gave four prayer points to guide the billions of people connected from all over the world to the worldwide Livestream of the program.
Prayer Point 1: Pray for all men, declaring that this is the day of salvation and grace, so we break the hold of Satan from their lives.
Prayer Point 2: Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth labourers into the harvest fields of leaders of nations.
Prayer Point 3: Pray that God will change the hearts of leaders from foolishness and deception to wisdom and truth. He’s able to do it and will when we pray.
Prayer Point 4: Pray to overthrow the work of ungodly men who fill the world with poverty, violence, and death, keeping men from experiencing the goodness of the Lord that fills the earth.
Pastor Chris announced a new season of ‘Your LoveWorld Specials‘ (Season 4, Phase 1) which will begin from Monday, October 11th to Friday, October 15th.
