The evening kicked off…
The evening began with a wonderful song dedicated to the Lord with the mantra of: “So we lift up our hand to praise your name”
After that amazing and uplifting start to the evening that would close 2017, Revenant, Dr. Chris Oyakhilome made an entrance: “Come on give the Lord a shout! Glory! Halleluiah! Praise the Lord! Glory to God!”
The crowd was ecstatic to greet and see the man of God, Pastor Chris. It took a while to get the crowd to settle down and sit in their seats due to their amazement and excitement for this glorious event.

view of the year of flourishing
It has been a year of flourishing for every one of us, determined the early hosts of the evening, praise God. As a ministry we flourished. Month after month we experienced luxuriant growth, significant attainments, and persistence productivity; it has been awesome. Can you just imagine? This year we brought the total of copies of Rhapsody of Realities, distributed worldwide, to over 1.3 billion copies in over 900 languages. Indeed an amazing achievement not just to the church but to the Glory of Christ, using the book as a tool to spread His word.
They also spoke of the spread of the Loveword impact and networks, especially Loveworld USA. We saturated the world with the word of God through TV, radio, and all across the internet.
Additionally, the tremendous impact of the ministry was brought up. Touching the lives of millions of children through the Inner-City Mission. As well as bringing hope and healing to thousands through the Healing School. Thousands of ministers were trained through the International School of Ministry (ISM).
It’s been a glorious year of accomplishment for every one of us.
This end of the year event was one that glazed glory on to all participants watching live or at home from their Tv, computers or any other electronic devices.
The excitement was in the air
Those participating really enjoyed the moment of being in the right place at the right time, witnessing the glory and presence of Pastor Chris, making the connection to the Lord at
tainable once again.
The most astonishing part of witnessing this event was that so many people gathered in one place, and watched live, not for a soccer match or a concert, but rather to hear the word of God. This fills my heart with glory and hope that Christ will prevail in the souls of the sinners and those to be saved.
After a short introduction to the evening the Believer’s Loveworld Incorporation (BLW) anthem was sung beautifully.
FALA winners
The next exciting moment in this packed evening was the moment when the Future African Leaders Awards (FALA) were given out, honoring the young leaders making change in their communities. Naomi Ekpoki Aliyu, this year’s star prize winner, was overwhelmed by not only receiving this prestigious prize but due to the presence of the man of God. She fell to her knees and was physically incapable of controlling her excitement. It was an unforgettable moment to witness all those winners on the stage fall to the ground from the grace of Jesus Christ through Pastor Chris.
Sinach and Martin PK
Martin PK came on stage to sing his recent Gospel single Beautiful Jesus, winning song of the year this past LIMA 2017.
And of course the amazing Sinach sang a song thankful to the Lord, we are grateful and with that we praise God. As she sang a song filling the crowd’s hearts with thankfulness and bliss many pastors from Christ Embassy and across the BLW community came on stage to join her and Pastor Chris.
Ending on an uplifting note
This outstanding evening ended with no other than Dr. Chris Oyakhilome himself thanking the Lord in front of a crowd of witnesses present, and across the world watching. “Oh father we thank you, we worship you, we honor you. Thank you for your love, for your grace, for your kindness. We worship you. Thank you for the year of flourishing, and our flourishing continues in the mighty and matchless name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!”
“As we go into this very special year that’s coming, 2018, you’ve got to do things differently. I want you to get on KingsChat send all the names of your family members for us to pray over. This is going to be a very significant year. We need to pray with words of prophesy into the lives of family members.”
