KingsChat-CeFlix Social Media Week 2020 was a resounding success, a first-of-its-kind week-long online conference aimed at completely upgrading the overall knowledge and productivity of its participants regarding recent social media trends and technological advancements. With the purpose of empowering people to maximize the readily available technological tools for wealth creation, economic growth, career path interest and personal development in specific areas of interest. The 7-day revolutionary online conference commenced on Sunday, July 26 and concluded on Saturday August 1st. Anyone with a phone, computer or tablet with an internet connection could attend the Social Media Week, and it was possible to get internationally acclaimed certifications for attending some of the courses.
Participants were exposed to knowledge on various aspects of social media, how it has evolved over the last decade and the influence it has had on out lives. Areas covered include: ‘Increasing your Brand Visibility’, ‘the Super Approach to Growing your Audience’, ‘the Politics and Business of Data’, ‘Cyber bullying’ and other exciting topics taught by globally acclaimed social media veterans.
Other insightful features included the highlights of KingsChat, CeFlix, Kings Pay, Yookos Market Place and more, showcasing the exceptional capabilities of LoveWorld apps and platforms, such as Maillox, the SoulTracker app, the Rhapsody Mobile app, the Healing School Mobile app, 360 Lace and others during the product spotlight segments. The virtual exhibition center providing participants with an exhilarating 3D experience was launched on the second day. We also heard about the potential dangers of various online platforms and were advised with numerous safety tips.
The conference also covered important current topics such as the Control and Silencing of the Church and Conservatives facilitated by senior pastors, like Pastor Rita Ijomah and various social media experts. Each day recorded an increased participation from around the world. In a keynote lecture on social media censorship, Pastor Lanre Alabi, Director, LoveWorld Church Growth Int., asserted that social media censorship is targeted at the Church. A special panel discussion comprising seasoned media and ‘on air personalities’ from LoveWorld SAT, South Africa, exposed the dangers of fake news: agenda setting and gatekeeping in media. Every day a panel of professional facilitators were available to answer questions from global participants.
