The much anticipated International Media Connectors’ Conference (IMCC) Xpanded 2020 kicked off yesterday amid great praise. This year it is bigger, richer, and expanded as more media connectors participate online from across the globe in the conference themed ’Empowering the Church for Global Gospel Dominance’. As this year has come with various challenges and travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, international delegates of LoveWorld were imparted with important information regarding the stringent entry requirements put in place by various governments including the Nigerian government.
Pastor Kay Adesina Secretary General Loveworld Inc advised delegates that if they were facing challenges as a result of these measures, not to travel this year, as to avoid unnecessary inconveniences. Every effort and resource has been made to allow these international Pastors and Partners to participate in the programs, to ensure that they don’t miss out on the conference altogether.
The esteemed Pastor Oge Oketunji, chairperson, International Media Connectors’ Conference Xpanded 2020, welcomed the delegates to the revolutionary conference, and the esteemed Pastor Lanre Alabi, Director, LoveWorld Church Growth International delivered the first keynote lecture on ’Empowering the Church for Global Dominance’.
The ministry is so enriched with so many beautiful LoveWorld apps, what are you doing to bring so many people on board? The esteemed Pastor Lanre Alabi shared some mind-blowing insights on the conference, highlighting powerful points and giving us some thoughts on global dominance:
The church must never depend on the world, or be at the mercy of the world, to do what God has called us to do. God doesn’t need the world to cooperate for us to do what He has called us to do. The church will never report to man or seek the permission of the Government to do what God has called us to do.
Don’t always come from behind but always create something new. We can do what has no parallel, which has not been done before. Don’t always wait for what someone else has done for you to copy.
Always be sensitive to human needs. It should be our desire to help people and as media Connectors, we need to find ways to help people, to eliminate the challenges that people face. When you’re sensitive to the needs of people, you will find the solutions. As a media connector, you have the initiative to make things easier and better for people and to create solutions.
We must believe in ourselves. We must believe that whatever comes from us is the best and believe in our products. If you believe in our products, you will use them. For the church to dominate, it must begin from the inside. Those who dominate always have the thinking that the world needs them because they have something to give. We are the ones dominating and we have something to give to the world! God is not a bad investor. When God gives you knowledge, He will demand from it. Grace is not for storage, it’s to be put to work.
