#CommunitySunday – The FALF is Promoting Leadership in Kenya

Glory to God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s different associated foundations are doing wonders for the community. One of which is the Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF). The foundation aims to cultivate young African leadership across the continent in the name of God. FALF has an award ceremony every year celebrating those who have done outstanding work in their local societies.

Christ Embassy Kenya hosted a FALF summit in Nairobi themed “my future is now”. The event was held in the main auditorium in the church with over 300 young attendees from across different secondary schools in the area.

The summit had four central goals:

  1. Cultivate a culture of trustworthiness in the youths
  2. Promote high standards of morality in the young leaders
  3. Develop the right attitude for a bright future as a leader in Africa
  4. Encourage strong study skills so that these future leaders can improve their grades and go on to succeed in life

It was a unique spiritual moment when over 100 students professed their devotion to God and gave their hearts to Christ. The summit was a great success showing the marvels Christ Embassy does in different communities across Africa and around the world.

A moment to remember from the event was when the zone director, the highly esteemed Pastor Siji Dara, came on stage to bless the youth through the glory of the Lord. His inspiring words filled the youth’s hearts with inspiration to act and impact their communities in any way possible. The youth in Nairobi indeed experienced a glorious moment that will stick with them for years to come.
