Each month our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announces the word for that month at the Global Communion Service on the first Sunday of each month. Each month this word has significance to the members of the Christ Embassy Church. Each month Pastor Chris explains in detail why he chose that word specifically.
Pastor Chris declared August to be the ‘Month of Meditation‘ at Global Communion Service. Reading from Joshua 1:8 and 1Timothy 4:15, Pastor Chris admonished the global saints to imbibe the word of God, day and night throughout the month. He posited that conscious meditation on the Word will spur the saints to act accordingly and undoubtedly set themselves on a prosperous path and lasting success. “Think, talk, and confess the Word of God this month, soak your spirit with God’s Word; this is what you have to do if you’re going to see advancement in life,” Pastor Chris remarked.
August is ‘the Month of Meditation’ Pastor Chris declared, saying: “This month you are going to meditate on God’s Word, and in the months following, the results will begin to show.”
Through meditation, the Word takes root in your spirit and becomes one with your spirit; it creates a picture in your mind: the image of God’s glory.
There’s so much that happens to you, and in your spirit, as you meditate on the Word; you’re transformed to become what you see. Hold on to the picture, the image of you that’s projected by the Word; that’s the reality you must keep affirming, regardless of circumstances.
