The Global Fasting & Prayer Program with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began yesterday, Saturday 1st, and will carry on until Monday for a 3-day special time of prayer. Sometimes, prayer alone is not enough, it has to be coupled with fasting when times get too tough to manage. The prophets, Jesus, and the apostles showed us the importance of fasting so that on certain occasions and for various reasons, we’re led to fast and pray more often than usual.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminds us to “pray especially for the nations of the world, that they be brought into alignment with the prophetic timing, plan, and purpose of God as delivered to us in the scriptures. With the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, forbid and overturn Satan’s plan and agenda to control the governments and nations of the world before the time, for they’re not hitherto given into his hands, which shall be hereafter. By the authority of the living Lord Jesus Christ, break the dominion and influence of Satan and demons over the leaders of government and their peoples, which has been exercised through fear-mongering and coercion. Pray for ministers, saints of God, and the churches of Christ to be protected and delivered from the Satanic deception of these last days. The Lord hear our prayer and have compassion on His people, the churches of Christ, and the nations of the world. Amen.”
Fasting for each day is from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a break at 4:00 pm if needed. Pastor Chris encourages everyone, as much as possible, apart from personal times of prayer, to pray together with a group or your church as the Pastor directs. During prayer, give time and attention to worshipping the Lord with thanksgiving.
International School of Ministry
Another event that will be happening later this month on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of May is the Global Ministers Classroom with Pastor Chris.
The vision of the International School of Ministry (ISM) is teaching, demonstration, and impartation. This vision easily rubs off on the students such that on returning to their churches, these ministers find themselves teaching the Word with great conviction and accurate knowledge, demonstrating the character of the Spirit, healing the sick, casting out devils, and imparting others with the same awesome grace. The ISM provides you with the opportunity of being tutored under the ministry of the man of God, Pastor Chris, and imparted with the wisdom and grace at work in his ministry.
Since its inception in 2007, the ISM has trained and equipped thousands of ministers from different nations of the world and the Global Ministers’ Classroom (GMC) with Pastor Chris is one such specialized training program aimed at ministers of the Gospel.
Now in its 3rd edition, this year, the Global Ministers Classroom (GMC) has been specially designed by God’s Spirit, to teach, train, and equip ministers of the Gospel on the Mission and Purpose of the Church, to the end that they will become better equipped for the end-time move of the Spirit for the Church, as we prepare for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The program is open to all Ministers of the Gospel; Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Missionaries, Children Ministers, Youth Ministers, Ministry Executives, and staff.
